I thought I would start this blog with something about myself so here are three creative things I love doing. They are by no means all the creative endeavours I have gotten myself into over the years. They are just the ones I tend to do more of than others.
1. Crochet
Crochet is my all time favourite creativity. I relax when crocheting, I can watch a movie or tv at the same time and it is really fun to experiment with making my own designs and patterns.

I fell in love with crocheting when I was in my teens but did not really get into it untill about ten years ago when friends’ and family members’ pregnancies were a great incentive to really get started. Even now, all the kids I know are a great inspiration for crocheting clothes and I love seeing my creations put to good use.
I also love that no matter the language the crochet symbols mean the same so you could buy a Japanese book as long as there are diagrams to follow.

2. Fashion Design
It is not really fashion design. It is more like fashion drawing but to me it is fashion design so that is what I am calling it.
I fell in love with fashion design when I first saw the series North and South about the American Civil War about 15-16 years ago. It big dresses in it was just the thing for a princess lover like me.
In the beginning I drew mostly on squared paper but later on I started using Top Model books because I am not the best at drawing the human figure.

I can really get lost drawing fashions for hours and I have always dreamt of some day owning my own fashion brand, and I already have a name!

3. Writing
Since I was very young, I have loved writing stories. When we had short story assignments in school, mine would always be half way to a novel before I knew.
I still love writing and have lots of ideas for stories but unfortunately, I have not have that much time to do so lately because school and other obligations but it is definitely in my plans for this summer.
Well, that is it for now. As I wrote in the beginning of this, I have a lot of other hobbies like making computer music, painting and drawing and I will be posting about that as well.
