Since I have recently had the epiphany (of sorts) that games are creative too, not just the actual gameplay but also the games themselves, I have decided to start a series where I will be posting about the games I find absolutely creative and share some of my gameplay. Might even start a YouTube Channel.
First up: MINECRAFT.
Minecraft is a game I have heard of but never really been interested in until I saw videos on YouTube of what other people have done in the game like WesterosCraft, which is a Minecraft community with hundreds of people building castles from Game of Thrones.
There are two game modes Creative and Survival for both single- and multi-player worlds. Will not go in to too many details you can read all about the game on minecraft.net. I want to share my gameplay experience.
So I started in Creative which basically means you have unlimited everything and flying and created this little building:
Lots of bright colours and light. Love it even though it is a bit boxy but I tried to compensate with the surroundings.
With the unlimited possibilities of Creative mode, you can create or re-create anything you want. Some people create whole maps with a story that guides you through the game and makes playing in Survival mode a bit more challenging.
After a bit of time in Creative I decided to try Survival where you have to mine for resources, run a farm and survive monsters in the dark. So much fun. Must admit I spent a lot of time on difficulty level Peaceful in the beginning to avoid the monsters.
I have yet to try multiplayer but would like to as it looks like a lot of fun.
I love the animals in this game and yes, you can breed them.
Let me know if you play the game and what you love about it in the comments below.
