Pinterest is one of the best places to find inspiration for your creative projects, at least in my opinion. I love going there from time to time when I am in need of new crochet patterns, ideas for cards, tutorials and so much more. There is something for everyone about any topic.

This post is the first, as the title suggests, of many posts of Pinterest Finds for your projects. If you have any suggestions for this new series, want to share your favourite boards or maybe you have a board you would like to share with others, you are welcome to comment, contact me on social media or use the contact form and I will it add to the Pinterest Finds link page with a credit of course.

A few things before we go on to this weeks finds is a tip about finding things on Pinterest. It is a really good idea to use alternative search words, including alternative spelling, for what you are looking for. For example if you look for “card making” also use “cardmaking” as an alternative spelling. Expanding the search to other words like “scrapbooking”, “scrap booking” and so on will help you find even more goodies you can use for your projects. Specifying your search to for example “3d cards”, if that is what you are looking for, will get you the results you faster.

Switching from pins to boards is an even better way to narrow down the search as it can take quite a long time searching through all pins at the same time where some may be repeating. The easiest way to find things is to follow boards and pinners who are “experts” at finding what you would be searching for yourself. And always remember to save your favourites to your own boards for future usage.

Important thing to remember! Check to see if the things you are planing to use for your projects are free to use. A lot of things are free for personal use only, so if you are planing on selling your finished project, check the terms of usage or add “free” to your search.

Now on to today’s finds.

Printables

Searching for printables on Pinterest will give you a wide range of result from paper dolls, scrapbooking materials, colouring pages of various categories and much more, which is why I have chosen to focus mostly on materials for card making and scrapbooking but also a few other interesting things.
